Pray for foster parents and unwed expectant mothers.
Generous. That's what women are. The one and a half million women who attend Assemblies of God churches are generous givers. The math is amazing. Total giving through our women across America in 2005 exceeded $12.8 million. Since 1951, giving has topped $336 million dollars. We truly are women touching the world.
Missions giving has been at the heart of Women's Ministries since 1925. Unlike other national departments, Women's Ministries does not have one identifiable missions project. Instead, women give to many projects using many project names. Consequently, Women's Ministries has not had specific identification for its giving in General Council reports. In referring to Women's Ministries giving, ministers frequently search for a name to compare with Speed-the-Light, Light for the Lost and Boys and Girls Missionary Crusade. That's why we’ve chosen Women Touching the World as the umbrella name for all Women's Ministries missions projects at national, district and local levels.
In 2005 women across America gave:
Touch the World Fund is the identification of our national Women's Ministries Missions Fund. It is comparable to Speed the Light for National Youth Ministries, or Light for the Lost for Men's Ministries.
The Touch the World Fund promises many opportunities for you to give.

Each year local Women's Ministries and churches across America are encouraged to receive an offering in September for the Touch the World Fund. Contributions may be sent with the church's other missions offerings using the World Ministries Offering Form. Online donations are also accepted and encouraged.
All women are encouraged to give an offering to the national Touch the World Fund. The national Women's Ministries Department gives a Touch the World lapel pin to women who give a donation of $10 or more. The attractive, full-color pin shows that women are concerned about and involved in ministries that touch the world.
The Library Fund provides World Missions Bible Schools with textbooks and reference tools. Funds are raised in a creative and profitable manner: Women's Ministries, churches and individuals save canceled postage stamps. Profits from those stamp sales go to the Library Fund. Cash donations are also given to this project. To date grants have been given to 447 Bible schools totaling $64,450, and $100,000 has been given to Latin America Library Services.
Local Women's Ministries are encouraged to participate in their district's Adoption Plan. The Adoption Plan provides opportunity to remember the missionaries and their immediate family members for special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries. Each district Women's Ministries department coordinates this unique ministry.
Child Compassion Challenge is an innovative program of the national Women's Ministries Department, in partnership with KidCare America, a ministry of Assemblies of God U.S. Missions, empowering churches to holistically reach children and youth after school.
The funds raised through Child Compassion Challenge (CCC) provide after-school enrichment programs to children and youth located in at-risk communities across the nation. CCC will help KidCare America by increasing resources for children to receive a healthy snack, homework help, recreational activities, Bible teaching, practical living skills, tutoring and a godly man or woman to walk with them through life.
CCC raises money for this through recycling discarded cell phones, and laser and inkjet cartridges.

District ministries are very generous and creative in their support of missionaries and missions projects. Some do this by providing generous cash offerings. Some districts invite missionaries to "shop" free of charge at missionary stores or boutiques filled with quality linens, dishes, small appliances and other household items or provide gift cards to major retail stores. Other districts assist their missionaries by sending containers full of commercial appliances, office equipment, dorm furniture and much more. Still other districts take groups to foreign countries to help with construction projects, or send money designated for special buildings. Yes, district Women's Ministries are very generous to missions!
There are two ways you can give.
THANK YOU for your help.
