The Divine Appointment

With his second novel, The Divine Appointment, Jerome Teel proves that he is not a one-hit-wonder! This follow up to his widely acclaimed first novel, The Election, once again takes the reader into the world of courtrooms and politics as we see the importance of God’s “divine appointments” in the lives of well-developed and intriguing characters.

In The Divine Appointment, the Supreme Court is in a time of transition, and voting power is up for grabs when one of the justices unexpectedly dies. The conservatives hope to see one of their own take the seat, giving them the ability to overthrow the Roe vs. Wade ruling on abortion. Meanwhile, two Christian attorneys, while working on a seemingly unrelated murder case, uncover evidence linking the Senator heading up opposition to the conservative efforts in the Supreme Court to their case.

Both men and women can appreciate this well-plotted story full of intrigue and mystery.
