Walking with the God Who Cares

by Catharine Martin

Walking with the God Who CaresThe subtitle of this book is Finding Hope When You Need It Most, and that is precisely what the reader can expect of this 30-day journey. From biographical sketches of Corrie ten Boom and how she found hope even in the death camp of Ravensbruck, to Martin’s personal account of a dark time when she nearly lost her mother, Walking with the God Who Cares promises to infuse hope into even the most desperate reader.

In the 30-day journey through this study, the reader each week will do the following:

  • Read. Readers are encouraged to take copious notes and write comments in the margins.
  • Respond. A devotional response section concludes each day’s entry. A key verse is given on which to meditate, and questions are provided for reflection. Finally, readers are prompted to journal their thoughts and responses to what they have just read.
  • Experience. Each week ends with a quiet time that emphasizes the principles learned.

The book can be studied sequentially, topically or devotionally, and is appropriate for either group or private study. A companion DVD and journal are also available.

Walking with the God Who Cares is the journey of experiencing God’s promises in the midst of life’s circumstances, and demonstrates a theology of hope from God’s eternal perspective.
